So, I finally, after ages, met my goal of 10k words for my current WIP, The Last of Humanity. I’m still having the same hard time with it that I was telling a fellow writer friend (the amazing Rebecca Senese) about. Science Fiction is hard for me to write. Being here in Colorado has definitely had a positive effect for my muse. While at the Church waiting for my aunt’s wedding to start, I found myself bored and, thanks to a message from my best friend, thinking about the apocalypse. “Wreckage” in Progress — And the Invasion of Mr. Block
I’ve finally had an idea, and I’ve written most of it. Well, most of the beginning of the idea. And then, Mr. Block hit me. Again. Such a rude little fella, he is. I’ve gotten 720 words on my rough draft, and I know where I want to go. The hard part, of course, is getting there. Currently, I’ve settled on the title “Wreckage” though it may only be temporary.
