Born and raised in central Arkansas, I’ve fought against the assumption that Arkansans are illiterate my entire life. I began to write at a young age, often choosing to scribble words down on paper or fill an assignment with an undesired story (which actually led to the failing of an essay on my fourth grade Benchmark exam).

In 2008, I successfully completed the National Novel Writing Month challenge and ended it with the rough draft of a novel, which was subsequently lost during a move and again when my computer crashed.

Currently, I am working on a Science-Fiction novel set in Post-Nuclear America.
